Next we rode to the bottom of the Lemar Valley to see animals. Due to an extreme traffic jam we did not get to do as much in the park yesterday as we would have wished, but we did see some bison. I actually saw some much closer up, but couldn't stop to take pictures of them. First was a smaller group and the second if you can stretch or zoom in has a large herd down near the water.

Day One Yellowstone Park
Again another beautiful day. We have certainly been lucky with weather that allows us to take advantage of everything the day has to offer. Dick and Viv are both struggling with colds. I am washing hands and using hand sanitizer like it is going out of style. I hope to avoid the germs. We went to the Mammoth Springs first and saw amazing geothermal features. One very happy moment for all of us when Viv was able to climb to the top of one of these formations. When we reflected on how far she has come since her last bought with cancer, it required praise and thanks to God and all the people who supported her.
